Spooky history returns Saturday with the 27th year of Carson City Ghost Walk Tours
For the 27th year, the spookiest historical tour of the capital city is returning this Saturday, June 1 with the Carson City Ghost Walk.
The Carson City Ghost Walk is a seasonal historical tour of Carson City’s west side, a walking history lesson with a touch of the supernatural.
Some of the stops on the tour include the Bliss Mansion, the Ferris Mansion, the Governor’s Mansion, and the Rinckel Mansion.
The inaugural walk of the 2019 season, which runs from June through October, will be held Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. The tour departs from the McFadden Plaza on Curry Street adjacent to the Fox.
“The evenings are a delightfully spooky and enjoyable way to experience Carson City’s Victorian Era and diverse history,” said a spokesperson for the Ghost Walk. “Hear about lingering spirits of the long ago centuries, haunted and paranormal stories and gossip from the past. This is a spirit lead, guided walking tour of the downtown district’s west side historic homes and businesses.”
All tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the time of the event.
The dates and times of walks are as follows:
— June 1, 22, 29
